On Tuesday 4 March, Xylotek will join Allford Hall Monaghan Morris for a tour of the newly completed Coalshed - part of the Bristol Digital Futures Institute at the University of Bristol.
Hosted by The Green Register, the tour will highlight the building’s design, construction and sustainability credentials, with Xylotek presenting on the delivery of the engineered timber structure that forms the spaces of MyWorld, the university’s advanced media research facility.
We’ll share some of the digital processes and fabrication technologies behind the 1,316 timber components that define the structure - including a short film capturing the installation sequence on site.
