Digital fabrication behind Rafter Walk

We’re pleased to share that Marina Brant, designer at Xylotek, will be speaking at the upcoming Rhino User Meeting in Porto, hosted by McNeel Europe.

Her presentation, Digital workflows for the design and fabrication of timber structures, will focus on the processes developed at Xylotek for the recently completed Canada Water Boardwalk in London.

The talk will explore how platforms including Rhino, Grasshopper and Cadwork were used across the design and delivery of the project — from early modelling through to fabrication. It will highlight the role of integrated digital workflows in enabling precision, coordination and design clarity in complex timber structures.

We’re looking forward to seeing Marina share some of the thinking and methods behind our approach to digitally enabled timber construction.
