Urban Nature Project wins SECBE Awards

We’re pleased to share that the Urban Nature Project at the Natural History Museum has won Project of the Year (over £20m) and the People’s Choice Award at the 2025 Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards.

Led by the Natural History Museum and designed by Feilden Fowles, the project transforms the museum’s five-acre gardens into a biodiverse landscape for learning, engagement and conservation. Xylotek worked as part of the wider team to deliver a series of bespoke timber structures, including the Garden Kitchen and Nature Activity Centre supported by AWS.

Congratulations to all involved – and in particular to the Natural History Museum, Feilden Fowles, Walter Lilly and the many collaborators who helped realise this ambitious project.
