Great day with Built by Nature in London at their Annual Summit.
They champion timber with a progressive, get-on-with-it mindset. Open, technical and outward looking, very much in step with the European and global outlook we work to.
The room was full of people moving biobased materials forward: designers, engineers, clients and policy. It felt like momentum, not just another conference. Conversations stayed close to delivery: approvals, insurance, supply chains and getting teams comfortable with mass timber.
Why this matters for us is simple. It backs the way we already work through early, practical collaboration that de-risks timber. It connects our site experience with the policy and finance conversations that shape adoption. It also widens the circle of partners who care about responsible, technical delivery.
What we’ll do next is keep sharing practical examples from live projects, keep engaging early with insurers, approvers and supply chains alongside design teams, and stay close to the Built by Nature network to support work that unlocks more good timber buildings.
