Who we are looking for:
A capable finance professional looking for an exciting challenge with the opportunity to build something new. You will work with the Finance Director and Finance Assistant to develop the business’s financial management, reporting processes and resources.
You will:
· Be a qualified accountant(ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
· Someone who wants to take on day-to-day responsibility for managing the finance function and the information that it produces.
· A team player who can communicate with non-financial colleagues.
· Someone who thinks about financial risks and how to develop processes to control these.
· Possess strong MS Excel and IT skills.
· 4+ years’ experience in financial management or accounting roles working with another organisation.
· An interest and, preferably, experience of working in the construction, architecture or building design industries.
Summary of role requirements:
· Create information and analysis to clearly show the financial position of projects and the business as a whole.
· Produce monthly Management Accounts and reports that clearly state the financial position of the business covering Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.

The Timber Designer will:
• Develop timber structural and connection details, in liaison with Project Managers and Design Director, for our projects during design development.
• Produce 3d models of timber structures, connections and interface details
• Produce 2d drawings for each project stage, including: arrangement drawings, detail drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Produce fabrication information include files for CADCAM in coordination with the workshop management
• Prepare schedules, drawing lists, drawing issue sets and specification documents
• Check and quality control of internal and third-party design and fabrication information
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Xylotek’s design standards, templates and guides.
