Xylotek, was proud to work on the Invaders Pavilion project for the Reading University exhibit at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019. The exhibit featured a pavilion that showcased the invasive species of Gunnera plants, and Xylotek was responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of the slotted CNC plywood components that represented the plants.

The components needed to be precise and perfectly aligned to create a cohesive representation of the Gunnera plants. Xylotek's team of expert designers and fabricators were able to meet the challenge by utilizing advanced CNC technology to create the components with the necessary precision and accuracy.

The project also required extensive collaboration with the Reading University team. Xylotek worked closely with the university's designers and horticultural experts to ensure that the components accurately reflected the Gunnera plants' appearance and characteristics. This collaboration resulted in a stunning exhibit that accurately represented the invasive species.

The Invaders Pavilion project was a resounding success, winning a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2019. The exhibit was also featured in several news articles, highlighting the unique design and impressive execution.
