Xylotek was approached by Argent Related to provide specialist consultancy, Stage 3 design advisory, and RIBA Stage 4 technical design for the Brent Cross South Marketing Pavilion project. The project involved structural engineering and BIM modeling services as well. The pavilion was designed by Moxon Architects and engineered by Expedition. The project aimed to provide a high-quality visitor experience, acting as the gateway to the Brent Cross South development.

Xylotek's involvement in the project began with a thorough analysis of the design and provided technical recommendations to ensure its feasibility. Xylotek's design team then moved on to develop a detailed technical design that was in line with RIBA Stage 4 requirements. The team provided structural engineering solutions that met the requirements of the project while ensuring that the design maintained the architect's vision.

One of the main challenges that the Xylotek team faced during the project was to integrate the different design elements into the BIM model. The team overcame this challenge by utilizing their extensive experience in BIM modeling, which helped them ensure that all design elements were accurately represented in the model.

The result of the collaboration between Xylotek, Moxon Architects, and Expedition was an innovative pavilion that acted as an entryway to the Brent Cross South development. The pavilion's unique design was inspired by the site's history, the use of timber frame integrated with the landscape, creating a seamless transition between the pavilion and the surrounding environment.

The pavilion's design incorporated sustainable materials, which was a key factor in the project's success, aligning with Argent Related's sustainability commitments. The project was completed on schedule, within budget, and met all of the client's requirements.

In conclusion, Xylotek's involvement in the Brent Cross South Marketing Pavilion project was critical to its success. The team's technical expertise, attention to detail, and collaborative approach ensured that the project was completed to the highest standard, meeting the client's expectations. The pavilion has become a landmark within the Brent Cross South development, demonstrating the success of the collaboration between Xylotek, Moxon Architects, and Expedition.
